Marc de Smet

Prof. Marc de Smet, a supervisor for Preceyes in the STORM-BOTS project, is co-founder and CMO of Preceyes B.V. Marc is a PhD in Immunology, FMH in Ophthalmic Surgery, professor at AMC Amsterdam and Leiden UMC. He is a highly-experienced eye surgeon and renown key opinion leader. He provides years of experience in translational medicine. As a senior retinal surgeon, he runs a private clinic geared mainly to the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases and ocular inflammation. Marc has a strong belief in robot-assisted eye surgery. As renowned public speaker he will actively contribute to the dissemination of the project results
