Dr. Beatriz Sanz graduated in Chemistry at University of Zaragoza, where she also studied a Master in “Nanostructured Materials for Nanotechnological Applications” at the Institute of Nanoscience of Aragon (INA) in 2010. In 2012, she started working at nanoScale Biomagnetics thanks to a collaboration grant with INA where later on she joined the R&D department at the company. At the same time, she joined the Department of Condensed Matter Physics and she received her PhD in 2015. Her expertise is focused on the synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanoparticles designed and optimized for magnetic hyperthermia applications. She has co-authored 19 international publications, she has been co-supervisor of 2 undergraduate students, and she has been tutor of 5 graduate students in-company internship programs.
